Therapeutic Solutions of Cheshire, LLP was established in 2019 by co-owners Lori McWeeney and Anne Sansolo, both Licensed Professional Counselors themselves who recognized a significant need for additional mental health services within the community. Lori and Anne have worked as individual practitioners for over 15 years and continue to in the Cheshire community. They have worked with children, adolescents, and adults within clients’ homes and/or office based providing both individual and family-based services. As the need became greater, it became essential to encompass more therapeutic providers within their team therefore they have developed a framework of strong and dedicated therapists ready to serve the public. They have created a therapeutic space that is warm, welcoming, nurturing, and safe for clients of all ages. Therapeutic Solutions of Cheshire, is a place for growth and a place to increase knowledge about yourself by becoming more in tuned to emotional and psychological needs and desires.
Lori McWeeney, LPC
Lori is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and has obtained a Master of Science Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She began her career working with children and adolescents within an Extended Day Program and then provided in home services through IICAPS for many years. In 2012, Lori started a Private Practice (Clarity Counseling, LLC) providing therapeutic services to clients aged five into adulthood both individually, family and couples based. She has enjoyed working with clients within the Cheshire community and surrounding towns, providing a safe nonjudgmental space for those in need of mental health services. As the mental health need became greater, she and her colleague Anne Sansolo, LPC created their group practice Therapeutic Solutions of Cheshire. This allowed them to acquire additional therapist to join their team to provide more services to the community.
Anne Sansolo, LPC
Anne graduated from the University of Hartford in 2007 with a Masters of the Arts in Clinical Psychology. She began her career as an IICAPS (Intensive In-Home Psychiatric Services) Clinician in Waterbury, CT and transitioned to Supervisor. She later changed positions and became the Supervisor of the Foster Care and Reconnecting Families Program in Waterbury, CT. In 2010, Anne started her own private practice in Cheshire, CT part time. She missed the direct care work and seeing clients. In 2013, she transitioned to full time at her private practice. In 2019, Anne and her colleague, Lori McWeeney, decided to combine their expertise and visions and created Therapeutic Solutions of Cheshire in hopes of creating more opportunities for the community to feel comfortable seeking therapeutic assistance.
